The award was given for years of service to the Scout movement in Jamaica. It's called the Chief Scout Commendation Award for Good Service. It was presented by His Excellency The Most Honourable Sir Patrick Allen, Governor General & Chief Scout of Jamaica. The presentation took place during the Scout Association of Jamaica's Annual Public Meeting and Awards Ceremony at Kings House on February 21, 2013. Scout/Founder's Week is celebrated round about this time each year. Scouting in Jamaica and the Scout Association of Jamaica celebrate 103 years in 2013.
I've done things such as setting up internal/external networks, websites and addressed issues relating to Information & Communication Technology. I have also helped with marketing issues and presently sit as the Chairman of the Marketing Committee of the Scout Association of Jamaica. I also contribute as a member of the Executive Committee of the National Scout Council.
